Le Mans

Le Mans, one of the largest cities of Sarthe, in Pays de Loire region, is particularly known for its rillettes and the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as for its magnificent buildings that reveal its glorious past. This rich cultural and historic heritage town is labelled "City of Art and History".

Located in the Pays de la Loire in western France, Le Mans is quite vibrant town where history and cultures of the past and today coexist. Le Mans possesses beautiful buildings with special architectural designs, just like the Cathedrale Saint-Julien, the House of the Tourelle or the House of Reine Bérangère. Le Mans' is also a city of cultural riches and historic buildings that are celebrated by the festival de l’Epau. And during "La Nuit des Chimères", images are projected on the facade of the splendid monuments of the Cité Plantagenet.
