Parks and natural sites
France has a natural environment which is exceptionally varied and has a great number of unique landscapes. Coastline, countryside, mountains – very few countries seem to offer such a wealth of natural environments.
The list is dizzying: Poitou wetlands to the Alps’ mountain peaks passing through Normandy landscapes, great plains of the Beauce, the Vosges or the Jura mountains, Mediterranean scrubland, the gushing waters of the Morvan, the Causses lunar landscapes to the Alsace plains, to the jagged coast of Brittany to the Mediterranean beaches and the typical yet varied seaside of the Channel, to the waves of the Atlantic Ocean to the dunes of the North Sea.
Along these country walks and waterways, a great number of activities are available to discover these unique sites in a different way. Walking along hiking trails, you will be amazed by the plants and native wildlife.
